I’m excited to announce that I’m back to writing again. I’m looking to put out my third album in late 2017 or spring 2018. It seems like a ways out, but as we all know, with family and work, things sometime take a little longer. (To do them right anyway) I’ll keep you posted when we hit the studio.
I’m also very excited to announce that I have signed with a new label. Rainwater Records. This is a start-up nonprofit record label that will fully support my music without owning it. Also, I won’t pay the organization for these efforts, but donate into a fund that will give much needed dollars to grade and middle school, music and choir programs. So, when you stream a song or buy merchandise, a portion of that will go to those programs here in our communities, as well as the communities that I’ll be touring in. I’m so excited.
I have to cancel the upcoming Sweetbriar Estates outdoor house concert in Portland this coming Sunday due to a completely lame move on my part. I managed to slice through my left hand yesterday while working a carpentry job and had to get it all stitched up. It doesn’t look too bad and I mangaed to miss the nerves and tendons and what-not…but guitar playing is a bit rough for awhile. So sorry to have to cancel but we’ll make it back next season.

If you’re in Seattle, mark your calendars for June 26th’s CD Release show at the Tractor Tavern
Well the new record is finally finished! We’ve got a CD release show scheduled for June 26th at the glorious Tractor Tavern. Rachel Harrington and I will be doing a dual CD release party with full-bands and free CD’s. That’s right, everyone through the door gets a copy of each new CD! I can’t wait to get out there and start playing some shows again. I’ll post more info on the release soon. For now, here are the details for the show:
